Enjoy learning about Mars? Ever wonder what the weather is like on the planet? Now you can find out with this simple app. The latest climate data from the Curiosity Rover is displayed alongside beautiful images taken both by the rover and from orbit. You can skip through images or just let the app autoplay.

This app was built by Drew Smith of Smith & Sons with design assistance from Adam Hosp. Its icons are used with permission from NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS and the top shelf graphic is courtesy of NASA/JPL-Caltech/Univ. of Arizona.

Weather data is from The Mars Atmospheric Aggregation System (MAAS), which is descrbed by its creators as "an API built to further the development of applications that want to leverage the REMS weather data being transmitted by the Curiosity Rover on Mars."
